Bianca Bustamante is a sixteen-year-old Filipina racecar driver who has been racing since she was five. In the senior shootout, she is one of the 14 drivers across Asia. The top eight finishers will go on to attend two-day FIA training camps. The top four will get a spot in the one-week Ferrari Driving Academy in Fiorano, Italy.

The Philippines has a rich motorsports history, and the country is booming with Filipino athletes competing in a variety of sports. In kart racing, the Philippines is home to many world-class kart drivers. In recent years, Bianca has won three Macau International Kart GP titles, two Overall Junior Asian Karting Open titles, and three Philippine Driver of the Year awards. She is currently preparing for the upcoming FIA competition in France. She will be the only Asian racer to compete for the scholarship.

The Philippines is also rooting for Bianca, a 16-year-old female kart racer from the Phillippines. She has dreamed of being a kart racer since she was five years old. She will join the FIA Girls on Track Rising Stars program in September to compete at the prestigious Formula One French Grand Prix.

Bianca Bustamante is the only Asian in the race to join the Ferrari Driver Academy. The sixteen-year-old will attend the FIA Girls on Track program in the United Kingdom. The FIA oversees numerous world-class motorsport events. The prestigious FIA Young Drivers Program provides opportunities for budding drivers of all disciplines to get a taste of Formula One racing.

The Philippine government is putting a huge stake in Bianca’s race. The FIA’s Girls on Track Rising Stars program has produced world-class racers like Daniela Polaco. However, Bianca will face a very tough competition with eight other girls from Europe. The Philippines will send six finalists to the FIA-sponsored karting academy.

In October, she will compete at the FIA’s girls-on-Track Youth Scholarship Shoot-Out to determine which of the two-year-olds in the Philippines will be chosen for the scholarships. In the fight, the winning driver will receive a scholarship to the FIA’s Girls on Track program. She will represent the Philippines at the 2021 FIA Youth Scholarship Shoot-Out.

As the only Asian in the competition, Bianca Bustamante will be the only Filipino to make it to the top 16. She will compete in the senior category against 14 other candidates from around the world. The program will also award the winners with a trip to the prestigious Italian Formula One training facility. Nevertheless, she is the only Asian to be selected for the program this year.
